Matej Bel University is a public university that was granted university status in 2010 and is a member of the European University Association. The university provides high-quality higher education and lifelong learning while promoting excellence in scientific research and the arts.

Comenius University Bratislava is internationally recognized for the quality of its education. In 2019, its Faculty of Management became the only business school in Slovakia to receive an "Excellent" rating in the Excellent Business School database.

The Institute of Informatics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences is an accredited external educational institution for postgraduate doctoral studies in the **Applied Informatics** study program (9.2.9), offered in cooperation with the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies of the Slovak University of Technology (FIIT STU).
